Strangely enough I've lived on the flight paths for both these airports. I recall having evil thoughts when slick willie was flying overhead to LANL in Marine 1.
Every once in awhile Moffett gets some fighter jets flying in or out of there. I also jump up like a little kid and go run outside to look for them. A B-52 landed there once too. Wow, what a sight those are in person.
Yeah, I love hearing the fighter jets too, although the sound initially causes me to turn on the news, then look for the tiny speck racing across the valley. Never seen a B-52 there, but they do have a great summer Air Show.
