He may be pretty smart. Every time the US stomps some piss-ant little country we rebuild it better than it was before. So if he can get us to beat the crap outta Iran, he's sure we will bend over backwards to rebuild it. GENIUS!!
Note that this article was put out by the AFP, a Paris based organization, sort of the French AP. No agenda there, oh no.
Huh?
"If you have ever wondered what a country run by lunatics would look like , you need look no farther than Iran"
Heck, just dial back to 1979 and look at the U.S., headed straight down the tubes.
Think China wants them to provoke us so they can get Taiwan and North Korea can overrun the South?
Maybe Iran wants to be hit first so they can claim that the Chinese nukes they used on our troops in Iraq and Israel were in retaliation.

Nah - None of the above -
Remember there is nothing more complex then avoiding the obvious.
"Why though?"
They know that US rather won't attack them. "Limited military action" can't change the situation very much and full scale invasion is just not possible in short therm, so they want to show themselves as a counterweight to US and become a leader of the whole Islamic world. Bush saying "We will defend Israel" only help them "proving" their points.
Please, Mr. Frazier, if you're reading this - I have asthma. Really.
Seriously, it's just a matter of time before we have to do these guys, too, isn't it? Too bad we have so many moonbats on the left that will keep W from doing his job in this regard.
LOL!
Be sure to tell us the story of that encounter, after you recover.
I'm not sure recovery would be possible from that encounter.
