those who accumulate wealth are just as sinful....
That is the church doctrine that so enraged Ayn Rand--and frankly enrages me.
Wealthy people don't just hide their money in cash under their mattress. They spend it throughout the economy which employs people of all means and makes life better for everyone--or they invest it in capital formation which does the same.
Good intentions don't count friend--results do.
In the real world it is only the wealthy people who _can_ do good deeds that can help thousands of others--and all they have to is spend or invest--that is why capitalism is inherently moral and socialism is inherently immoral.
(I am not wealthy--btw--but I would be a better person if I was. :-) )

If you truely believe that then you are contributing to the problem.
Greed is a horrible thing.. it is better to be poor than to be rich.
And yes.. business people create economic activity. However when certain CEO's get paid 51 million a year for basically doing nothing.. that is greed.. and the world is worse off for it.
