I have a slightly different take on that. Perhaps part of the reason she's overweight and rabidly "pro-choice" now is because as a young woman, she had an abortion and is still in denial about the negative psychological and emotional impact that had on her.
All of that fits with typical "post-abortion syndrome" symptoms. (That's not to say that all overweight women have had abortions; just an observation.)
..Someone in my church....when in her younger days, had 2 abortions....2!!
I think she hasn't recovered from the guilt....she carries around a very large pronounced belly....
..and is constantly seeking doctors and medicines for 'vague ailments'....
...Sad.
