My theory:
The White House is playing possum.
Iran sits flanked to the east by Iraq, to the west by Afghanistan.
Coincidence?
If anything, the so-called 'insurgents' have done us a great favor - justifying remaining 'in-country'.
We're still in Iraq and Afghanistan because the War with Iran has just begun.
