I kind of want to get one of those for a boat gun, and general self defense weapon. I believe it could even do a fair job on whitetails in the woodsy farm country I usually hunt, especially since I rarely have a shot over 100 yards, usually much less. Though I'll probably stick with my Remington 700 for that.

Not sure whether to go for the SOCOM 16 or the II.
