The Marine "Gunfighters" returned on Easter after being deployed in Iraq. This is the group that lost a crew when their chopper was shot down last year over Iraq. There have been many clips like this played since the war began, but this one is special for me. The Captain (Mike) shown at the beginning with his wife and new baby are special friends of my wife and I. We have been praying constantly for his group to return safely and my heart is busting with joy knowing they are safely back and reuniting with their families. Forgive me for being a bit excited! Here is a link to the video:
The site has the video "Long Awaited Homecoming for Nearly 300 Marines" dated as 4/16/06 and is on page 4 of the video selections on the right side.
Did you catch the one guy saying "I'd do it again in a heartbeat!"
A shot in the face to the lefties. In fact reminds me of a letter to the editor in the llocal paper I forgot to post here. I'm gonna do a search and if it hasn't been posted I'll put it up. A lcoal Army Sgt blasted the media for the coaverage. It was pretty cool.
BTW I did have some trouble finding the video you posted. If anyone elase is having the same problem, just type "homecoming" in search box on the first page. The video is well worth watching! Thanks again for the link.

Thanks. I noticed the videos are on a continuous rotation and that any direct link gets changed pretty quickly. Appreciate the headsup on how to find the right one.
