Angry over illegal immigration they say depresses wages and displaces American workers, hundreds of people called for stricter border enforcement during a rally Monday evening at Mill Creek Park.
The rally came in response to two recent Kansas City rallies at which thousands of people called for undocumented immigrants to be given a path to citizenship.
The open border crowd says they dont want a 700-mile wall built on the U.S.-Mexico border, law professor Kris Kobach told the crowd of at least 700. I dont want that either. I want a 2,000-mile wall.
The crowd erupted in cheers, whistles and applause.

Professor Kobach received his bachelor of arts degree with highest distinction from Harvard University in 1988. He graduated at the top of his class in the Harvard Government Department. In 1988, the British government awarded him a Marshall Scholarship, which took him to England for post-graduate study. In 1992 he received his doctorate in Political Science from Oxford University. In 1995 he received his J.D. from Yale Law School. While at Yale, he taught undergraduates in the Yale Political Science Department, and in 1994 he won the Prize Teaching Fellowship, an award based on student nominations and faculty review. He also served as head of the immigration section in the Justice Department, while Ashcroft was AG.

I heard about this on the radio this morning.....not a bad idea.
The Send-A-Brick Project was created by concerned citizens to send bricks to Washington encouraging our Congressmen to stand tough on border security.
Each brick sends a message to our Senators and Representatives that we want our borders secured before any other action is taken on illegal immigration.

Well...we do have a lot of cheap labor in that area.

Consider the intestinal fortitude this man must possess in order to slog his way through that much liberal indoctrination and remain loyal to his conservative ideals.

2,000 is a start. I'm ready to build a wall around the entire 20,000 miles of the USA border.

I believe the whole thing could be built by thousands of volunteers. I would be willing to be one of them.

We've got what, a million prisoners in this country? Time they paid their debt to society.

I've got some vacation time. I would do it for a couple of burgers and a six pack.

I bet we could fund this wall if, instead of asking for a dollar donation on tax returns to fund political campaigns, we asked for a dollar donation for the wall.

How cruel of you to suggest that!!! They might miss their favorite tv show and the airconditioned cell.

I'll bet many of Arizona prisoners would rather build a wall than sit in one of Sheriff Joe's Tent Cities - give them an option...A month of building a border wall or 6 months of Joe's tent city (during May - October months)
To: GarySpFc
These wall builders should take into account that there's another area within U.S. borders that has a 90 mile wide moat full of sharks in rough seas and illegal aliens still get across by the hundreds. It's called the Mona Passage.
A wall won't do much good if local and federal governments don't enforce the laws that are already on the books.
