Kudos to you. You did well. And I am sincerely happy for you. Others don't do so well. As a parent, I want to make sure he has the best possible opoortunity. Is he drooling? Heck no, I would never allow that. He's one of the stars on his soccer team. He has tons of energy still. More so than my other sons... but when not medicated he is dangerous to himself and others.

I'm not happy with the public schools either, which is why my children are in private school. And as parents, we are truly the only advocates our children have.

I'm sorry that you feel you must try to diagnos me online, or say I am over weight (which by the way, I am not).... these comments only make you look far less than what I believe your education to be.

Some do good; some don't. Life is not fair. Drugging kids to make them ore compatible with society tells me there is something seriously wrong with society.

Or maybe 1984 happened 20 years later (I assume you read Orwell). Up is down; down is up.

As a parent, you want your kid to have the best opportunity for what, exactly? What is your measurement? Fitting in? Conforming to government's ideals? Not making trouble?

Nice try bringing up this late in the game that your ADD boy is a danger to himself and others when not medicated. Are you saying that ADD boys are a danger to themselves and others if they are not medicated? Or just yours? Moving the goalposts? Think it would go unnoticed?

If your boy is a danger to himself or others, unmedicated, I doubt ADD is the cause.

Schizophrenia, Psychotic, Severe Depressive Disorder, and others cover that.

I've seen evidence today, that not drugging those who need it may lead to them growing up to be an a$$ on internet boards despite their ability to earn 6 figures.
