I heard a retired general (one of the good ones) say yesterday that he and about 15 others were in a meeting with Rumsfeld. They are saying that the problem is the PR. That there just has to be a better job of getting out the message of what the war is all about.
I do not know what could be said that would open the ears and minds of liberals, and a lot of conservatives as well.

They need to break down and hire some pros to repackage their PR. They have been very open, but the press corps just won't give us what we want.
