PHOENIX Immigrant rights advocates are cool to the idea of a May 1st worker boycott.
Organizers of a recent march through Phoenix fear too many participants could lose their jobs.
They're also concerned an economic boycott could alienate employers and fuel a backlash undermining any gains made after the massive April 10th march and rally.
A spokeswoman says they want to keep the boycott as a last resort.
Calls for workers and students to stay home and not spend money on May 1st came after a series of massive protests staged in cities across the country.
Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to demand federal legislation allowing undocumented immigrants to earn legal status.

Too late. The damage is done. The La Raza socialists tipped their hand and all immigrant initiates have been tainted with their rhetoric.

I guess they figured out that illegal immigration does not have as many fans as they assumed it did.

Show your patriotism on May Day.

They're also concerned an economic boycott could alienate employers and fuel a backlash Too late about the backlash part. Making the new protests on May Day will only make it worse, but they've already overplayed their hand. The first marches overplayed their hand big time.

Maybe they are regrouping to go after Lou Dobbs. According to reports, the illegal aliens and their fans are in a frenzy that Lou Dobbs dares to speak out against these criminals and want him silenced.

Their very first day when waving mexican flags, che banners, calling for 'whitey' to go back to europe, their hand was tipped. Americans won't forget that. We saw where their true allegiance lay.
