The Kennedy legacy IMO has always been the Bay Of Pigs betrayal of those men he sent to their death and then abandoned.

Please forgive me for saying this, but I've always believed that "Dallas" was Kennedy's Karma for the "Bay of Pigs."

If men who voluntarily took up arms and put their lives on the line to smash Castro's regime don't qualify as freedom fighters They were tyranny fighters. As used by today's newspeak media, "freedom fighters" are those who fight freedom (just as "fire fighters" are those who fight fire).

VP Nixon didn't have the power to declassify info, but President Bush does.
Perhaps he can declassify the enormity of this betrayal? Has it been voice recorded? I'd like the public to hear the emotion of, "Russian tanks overrunning my position," San Roman on his radio again, "destroying my equipment." crackle ... crackle ... crackle ... "How can you people do this to us?"
Sen. Kennedy could easily be voted out of office, but it'd take an independent candidate with a boy scout's reputation. Even if that candidate should never make it to election day (considering what corruption really is surrounding Kennedy politics), Ted wouldn't stand a chance.

So that's where Ted learned that it was okay to leave someone to die.
