The professors and sometimes, religious leaders, who promote hatred for the United States, or President Bush, or the Republican Party; who have undecided, immature, minds at their command, should evaluate thier teachings a little more carefully. Some of them may be aware of it and want to capitalize on it. Some may be indoctrinated by so-called liberal values or PC views, or in truth, lack of values, and may think they are promoting 'freedom of speech'. Some may be looking for that 15 minutes of fame someone proclaimed we should all have(egoism?). Many are promoting hatred to the point of violence, whether they realize it or not. I suspect some of them are merely pontificating ideas brought on by their own failure in society, or their own wrong interpretation of the actions of government because of media propaganda or past personal experiences that lead them to question their own values. No intelligent person should swallow the news as presented on the popular media outlets, yet many have not yet realized that what they are taking in is pure propoganda, and not factual accounts, or even worse, taking advantage of our 'freedom of speech' in order to promote some entity's own agenda. Americans have not yet accepted the fact that it is possible for them to be 'brainwashed' as were Russians in the past. Freedom of speech, fine, who could not be for it? Incitement to murder, what category does that come under? If one of these immature, passionate, students decide to act on all this hate talk, who should be to blame? I speak from personal observation as I have seen intelligent young people dramatically converted to a point of near radicalism after attending very liberal colleges for a few years. Fortunatly they were grounded enough to not follow through on these 'teachings'; but then who can predict when it will totally involve that one person? And who can deny that that particular 'authority figure' wasn't the propelling figure to an act of violence? Who can undo an act of total destruction, no matter what the ignorance or motivation behind that action?

Joseph Goebbles would be in awe of the power of the American media and the technology at its disposal. I am certainly not comparing the American left to Nazis, but I am making a comment about the power that media technology has over the modern world. This power could be manipulated by people of any political persuasion, and we will be in for a bleak future if someone as depraved as Goebbles gets a hold of it. Fortunately we still have a pretty wide spectrum of ideas represented in our media, despite some of the bias that exists within certain news organizations like NBC. I share your concern about the lack of ideological diversity on America's college campuses.
