That's not much more than the L.A. Unified School district budget. More than half the kids in the LAUSD are "immigrants" (not classified, of course).

Wow! I thought I might be underestimating. I remember seeing some stats on what illegal immigration is costing our border states for all the schooling, health care, law enforcement, etc... All combined I bet it would pay for a fence in weeks.
