The reality is Musharraff has done about as good a job as can be expected of him - He is dealing with a very complex situation within his own Country -

Another reality you seem to simply ignore is the fact that Pakistan doesn't control these border regions. They can't! Which is why they haven't in over a century -

On the whole Musharraff has been a solid ally in the WOT. Outside of three or four other Nations they have stepped up to the plate more so then all the rest.

You don't seem to have a very good understanding of how these border regions operate and how they are autonomous for the most part from the Pak Gov't itself -
