"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

I don't think Tony would string us (I mean the country, not just snoqflakes) if he weren't seriously considering it. He also said that the White House would be making the announcement, not him.

You're right, Monday morning would be great for them pr-wise. The White House seems to be getting good press with the public discussion on Tony and the atmosphere he would create in the position. I would hate to be the 'other guy,' if Tony doesn't/can't take it. He will obviously be a second choice. :-/

I too pray that the check up went well, apart from job considerations. But if it went really, really well, that may be the clincher. :-)

Tony can think of it as a military call-up. It's less time with the family, and less pay for awhile, but a good job could have historical effects, and at least he isn't overseas and will be available to his kids more than the guys over in Iraq.

Gee, maybe the 'snoq' is precient, tol. ;-)

Everybody who has read those statistics is well aware of EXACTLY what the ADMINISTRATION'S NO IMMIGRATION and AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS policy has been for the last few years. It's a welcome OPEN DOOR POLICY to all illegal Mexicans, and let me stick my thumb in the eye of the four million who are waiting in line to come to the US LEGALLY. Why the administration cannot see the moral bankruptcy of this is beyond me.
