Not good enough.
He must resign. Just like a Republican is required to by the Democrat Party.

Good stuff.
Only I would like to add that anyone with a (D) beside his or her name should step down from any post that involves ethics.....

Any chance that the slam dunk ethics charges against Conyers, Jefferson et. al. will proceed?

It's good to see that the Democrats, who are always talking about how much they hate the "culture of corruption," are leading the fight against this corrupt Democratic congressman. It's wonderful to see that they put their devotion to their anti-corruption "crusade" ahead of party loyalty.
...under fire from Republicans and watchdog groups...(but not Democrats)
Oh, wait.

What?!? I thought Democrats never stepped aside, or stood down, or resigned. Didn't this guy get his Democrat Rule Book? Or is there some law of which I'm not aware that forces him to "step aside"?

"
...under fire from Republicans and watchdog groups over his personal financial dealings"LOL. I guess red flags flew when his net worth went from $500G to $15 Million in three or four years and during the worst economy since Hoover. ;^)

That would be Ronnie "The Weasel" Earle, from Travis Co., TX...the blue anus of Texas.
Saw Brit's story on Mollohan last evening. He went from being seriously in debt, to having hundreds of millions of dollars during his time in office. One of his wife's real estate deals in NC, netted a 6,000+% profit in four years! And they hounded DeLay out of office for $190,000 campaign funds that were legal under Texas law. There is NO justice if this worm is not jailed.

The democrats do not require resignation upon indictment. Only the republicans have such rules.

And don't the Democrats know it. I guess I'll just have to be happy belonging to the "dumb" party, Republican. GOP better get smart and get rid of their "dumb" rule.
