Wang Wenyi, 47, had obtained temporary press credentials as a reporter for a Falun Gong newspaper and positioned herself on a camera stand.

According to Secret Service translations provided in court documents, she shouted in Chinese: "Stop oppressing the Falun Gong," as well as "Your Time is running out," and "Anything you have done will come back to you in this lifetime." She also shouted in heavily accented English: " President Bush, stop him from killing," and "President Bush, stop him from persecuting the Falun Gong."

It seems to me that this Lady should get a community service award as well as an all expense paid trip to Disney World.

She's got more stones than Murtha does!

Does she have a defense fund yet? I'd contribute.

Does she have a defense fund yet? I'd contribute. We're not allowed to protest out front of no. 10 downing st. anymore (equivalent to your White House). Sadness, it is.

What did she do? Did she punch a cop with a closed fist?

willfully intimidating, coercing threatening and harassing a foreign official.

This makes me sick. He's a commie and she's going to be prosecuted. This is nuts.

It's worse than "sadness". We fought and won a Reveloution over this kind of bullsh*t.

I cannot fathom that we would do China's bidding on this. If Bill Clinton were President I'd be furious! Frankly, I am anyway. How low is this nation going to sink?

This goes over the line. Freedom isn't what it seems. We just proved we are on the same path as the ChiComs.

Rush and Sean should turn this into a big issue.

It's outrageous. This woman is a heroine and deserves all our support. This administration's (and previous ones') suckups to China stink.

Depressin' ain't it? Rather like a real-to-life Star Wars flick...with the Dark Side winning.

I first heard this news from a CBS news report on the radio. The guy began the "newsbreak" by saying, "President Bush had a Baaad day today." Then he went on to tell the story like it was a disasterous, embarassing and botched affair of State.

They forget they work for us, and we have vocal chords and the freedom to use them.

Perhaps the ACLU could take up this case. Not only would they do what we want done, but we wouldn't have to put up any resources. It would, instead, be resources that would otherwise go to springing terrorists from Gitmo going to getting this lady off.

No, no, no. Not that lady. The one that got arrested. And not "get her off" in the "nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more" sense, but in the "get her out of jail" sense.

Oh, screw it. I just opened Pandora's Box. Might as well run like hell now.
