"I think I'm going to donate one foot of fencing. "

Excellent way to look at it. I think I'll send a foot, too.

Sad that The Minutemen have two pairs of balls; their own and Bush's.

"Guess I know what I can do with the $100 I was going to send to the GOP.
"

Another excellent example. Send the MM a foot or two of fence then send the GOP a letter saying they didn't earn the money so you sent it to those who do.

This is about 3.6 billion for the whole border. This is CHICKEN FEED compared to the costs incurred by having the illegals here.

Compare that to the estimated $200 Billion a year in depressed wages (according to Lou Dobbs), 38 Billion in social services, and God knows how much in terms of violent crime each year. Sounds like a bargain to me.

"they could probably lower the cost estimate by using
. . . illegal immigrants!"

Cement their feet into the ground?

Yeah I spent a month on a seismic crew in South Texas once and let me tell you, I thought I was going to die the first few days. You have to keep drinking water, and keep taking salt. The Mexicans would put the salt directly in their water. I love sunflower seeds so I just ate them constantly. After a week or so, zipping up and down the line in beautiful, if harsh, country on the back of pickup trucks started to become a blast.

Did anyone catch Chris Simcox on BOR saying something like the ACLU and a member of the New Mexico or Arizona legislature helping illegals on the Mexican side of the border with maps, water, etc.?

BOR ask him if he had evidence and he said he had video and that the Border Patrol has confronted them about aiding the illegals numerous times.

“When we finish building fences on private property, if necessary, we’ll begin building it on government and state land,” Simcox says

Right. That will be as soon as you complete the environmental impact surveys, conduct the archaeological studies, secure the necessary permits, and pass legislation allowing the government to grant a permanent easement for a fence.

Guess I know what I can do with the $100 I was going to send to the GOP.

ALL donations to this fence project should be tax-deductible.

"...the desert is not for sissies"

Billboards with pictures of Helen Thomas should send 'em running back south. Now if we used those pictures on the Northern border, we may not be able to keep the Canadians out.

Yep - Rattlers! The border crisis is outrageous! Americans have been betrayed - NAFTA, etc., etc.

I am sick at heart that Americans are cat-called "racists"!
Baiting and bullying in protest against protecting our borders and immigration controls is a vicious provocation for retaliation. I don't feel too "humane" and I have lost my "tolerance" for diversity.

If the Federal Government were really interested in protecting American citizens and our country, there would be a box to check for taxpayers who would wish for $50 of their tax payments to go to "The Robert Frost Memorial Fence Fund".....
