The Vietnam War veteran railed for five minutes Tuesday at a town hall meeting at Brooksville City Hall about the need for tougher security at U.S. borders. When he was done, the audience erupted in applause.

They won't vote Republican, that's for sure, despite Rove's fevered dreams.
The Dems have already been seen trying to register them.
Illegal aliens are not destroying our republic; politicians, judges, lawyers, and felon employers are.

I thank you for your courteous response to my letter concerning illegal aliens, illegal drugs, and a continuous linear border barrier. It still is yet to be seen if the United States government has the determinant will to protect America by the erection of a permanent linear border barrier to stop the unchecked flow of crime, illegal drugs, and illegal persons along our southern border. It seems that barrier construction ought to be the first order of business in addressing any illegal alien or illegal drug problem.
From your correspondence, I am assuming that a guest worker proposal may soon again surface in the Senate sometime after the Spring break. It would seem only fair and appropriate that should an employer absolutely need those foreign workers and no American worker may be found, those employers' needs ought to be fulfilled through a joint application and screening process with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Labor Departments. Those employer applicants should be required to swear out an affidavit of support for each of those workers and be held financially responsible to be sure those immigrant workers do not become a public charge, similar to the form I-134 sponsors of legal immigrants must now file. Those affidavits which are now required by law, specifically state immigrants are not be eligible for any public means tested assistance for a period of five years. Such equivalent relationship requirement ought to be placed upon the guest worker and employer for the duration of their work term or association.
Although it is true a court had previously ruled those affidavits may not be enforceable, it is this form I-134 requirement for sponsors of legal immigrants that may be severely jeopardized and possibly permanently dismantled should any guest worker bill which becomes law not include similar provisions, as the US government may become libel for discriminating against a particular group of immigration applicants and that lack of provision by one group may be successfully challenged in court by the other. It is also dangerous that lawmakers allow any court's dismissal of responsibility when accompanied by a signed affidavit, an instrument most commonly accepted as the equivalent of testimony in the judiciary.
My question is this: how may a court so easily dismiss a notarized Form I-134 and its applicability but will soon be empowered to accept easily forged pay stubs without notarization as validation of employment? If they do, that leads us into another perplexity.
In the Senate's compromise proposal, I've noted illegal aliens proving they've been in these United States for a certain period of years' time, most likely by those pay stubs or other substantiating employment evidence, would be required to have paid back taxes and be assessed a fine for breaking the law, yet I might have overlooked a similar penalty for those employers who've also broken the law by hiring those undocumented workers, if indeed such penalty were included within the proposal. Absent any such penalty, it would appear Washington would be ignoring a certain class of criminal behavior by not also assessing a fine upon those employers who have clearly been shown to have employed illegal aliens and could not have possibly appropriately filed proper tax disclosures nor paid the appropriate amount of tax as substantiated by the proof submitted by the undocumented worker.
There is also a problem with such proposal which relieves the undocumented from another liability. The question arises about compensation or justice for those whose identification had been forged or stolen and used for such illegal purposes. Absent the Senate's address of this issue, those who've stolen others' identification and caused significant damage to their victims' credit or personal information would unfairly escape responsibility for their actions. Many to whom this ID theft has happened have expended considerable resources to correct the wrong done them, with no fault of their own - yet those who've caused their agony may not ever be held accountable.
These are a few of my thoughts and concerns upon one of the most pressing issues of our time.
I know your efforts to represent North Carolina are challenging at times, but there are many North Carolinians who tremendously appreciate you and the work you do. Please know that I am enumerated among those.

I've had it with political party prostitutes that put their party(s) interest above that of the nation. I will not vote for a candidate that won't defend our constitutional republic and its laws.
This particular incident is good news, but what does a voter do when all candidates look the other way regarding illegal invaders? Stay home or write in 'Lone Wolf McQuade' or something? These are the races for which patriots need to rise up and register.

The article covers two groups of people...Charles Wingrove and those who applauded him, vs Sen. Bill Nelson and his band of Quislings.
Yeah- and th everage guy certainly doesn't have the money to win. It's almost as if there needs to be regular PR stunts in a local district, and at least one friendly reporter, to get the write-in vote. But scum like Bill Nelson are pretty safe from any real competition.
I'm done supporting the GOP with my dollars. I'll support the Minutemen instead. And if there's a way for me to volunteer without moving out west, I'll consider that too.
