If this one gets too long, someone can start another thread.
Then, we can link all of them together like MO1 does during the Freepathons.

I wonder if the story was manufactured as bait to get the rat?Ill bet it was. Big rat, too. A reporter won a Pulitzer over the leak.
While I dont want to see another Angleton purge, the Agency needs to be revamped from top to bottom..

New York Times article syas she may have leaked multiple times:
C.I.A. Fires Senior Officer Over Leaks
By DAVID JOHNSTON and SCOTT SHANE
Published: April 22, 2006
****************************AN EXCERPT********************************
WASHINGTON, April 21 The Central Intelligence Agency has dismissed a senior career officer for disclosing classified information to reporters, including material for Pulitzer Prize-winning articles in The Washington Post about the agency's secret overseas prisons for terror suspects, intelligence officials said Friday.
***********************************Key Info **********************************
Intelligence officials speaking on the condition of anonymity said that the dismissal resulted from "a pattern of conduct" and not from a single leak, but that the case involved in part information about secret C.I.A. detention centers that was given to The Washington Post.

In the reply right below this one from you, I linked Howlin's original thread. Here is the link again.
Do us a favor and provide this link and a link to some important data on this thread as it goes along.

I find it cool that she may have been fed misinformation to deliberately expose her... now, I wonder what other real information she shared before being outed.
She should have her *ss thrown in jail if anything ever turns up.
To: JCEccles
Correct.
Her being with the system so long, she knew the limitations of the box. I can just picture her doing the "you're picking on me 'cause I'm female" ... the interviewer waits a moment then says "well can you explain this video of you and ..."
To me, that's PayperView Stuff.
Good to this this Administration acting like they got a pair.

Good!
Maybe, we will end up with a cat fight between the Compost and the Ny Slimes.
Someone told me that the Compost had an article about the Slimes Pulitzer re the prison camps in Europe which didn't exist.

So what does it all mean? Will it help the Republicans? Will the press run with it?
Don't mean to sound so pesimistic but how is this different to every scandal Clinton suffered that we all thought would be the end of him?
This story is too compicated for the general public. She is still a hero to the left, if not a martyr. Or do you expect the NY Times to go after her?
