Unfortunately these boobs are working against us. I support anti-illegal rallies, but they need to do it in a way that doesn't paint us into that anti-immigrant picture the liberals and open-border whackos like to put us into.

Hence the line that the story could be most interesting when it comes up tomorrow. No matter how law-abiding, reserved, polite, courteous, and civil the anti-illigal-immigration folks are the AP is going to paint them as wild Xenophobic (not XenaPhobics), Racists and Bigots.

Hmmmm, how about a Pro-legal, Anti-illegal immigration rally? That should fool some of the people all the time. ;)

The "outspoken political activist" is J.T. Ready. He is running for a council seat (District 4) in Mesa, AZ.

An outspoken political activist is planning to lead an anti-illegal-immigration rally Saturday outside the Mexican Consulate in west Phoenix.

That should have been:

An outspoken advocate for law enforcement is planning to lead a pro-legal-immigration rally Saturday outside the Mexican Consulate in west Phoenix.

What the AP story got right: Saturday's protest will be significantly smaller than recent pro-illegal-immigration rallies that drew tens of thousands to downtown Phoenix.

Exactly, so they need to dress appropriately and curtail their language so that it is explicitly towards illegal aliens and not immigrants in general.

They need to tout signs and t-shirts promoting legal immigration, while speaking out against illegal aliens and illegal immigration.

They have to do no such thing. All they need to do is tell the truth. The local and national media will slime them. The forum will get the opinion out whether the AP and local media like it or not.

Couldn't agree more! The Antique MSM will paint the story any color their choose to put on it just so long as it supports their agenda (which is the DNC agenda). So, the truth is attempting to get out here and no one should be trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Yeah, you go with that. My guess is that you don't work in PR.

Interestingly enough, even Hillary kind of "gets it" where Mexico's nearly
omnipotent oligarchs are concerned:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ideas_opinions/story/411104p-347791c.html

"[Mrs. Clinton] said she favors a "carrot-and-stick" approach with Mexico to
provide that government and its "oligarchs" the incentives to give Mexicans
more and better jobs in their own country."

Frankly, the more pressure we keep on Mexico, immigration-wise, the more
reformers inside of Mexico can be emboldened and empowered to scale back
monopolists' abuses down there which keep our own country flooded with
economic refugees. Here's an interesting thread on new legal reform progress
that finally
emerged in Mexico I think as a result of immigration reform's failure:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1611677/posts

We can make a difference for our sake, and their's as well, by cracking down
and demanding more activism by our own United States Trade Representative
against protectionist Mexican oligarchs in, for example, the monopolistic
petroleum, telecommunications, electricity and television media sectors.
Isn't prodding our neighbor to finally clean up its own backyard before
lambasting us for ours the neighborly thing to do?

Out of curiosity, why is she called Hitlery? I guess because she rallies the masses against the already overburdened & oppressed white male taxpayers like Hitler blamed the country's problems on Jews?

That and so many of the gestures she uses in her campaigns are similarly staged, she would be an undeniable dictatorial depot if ever elected to the Presidency, plus her name fits so well for morphing.

Well good for you! I and others like me take it up where it counts - with our legislators and in the polls.

Senator Richard Lugar received 30 bricks in the mail the other day from constituents who want a wall built.

The public is already on our side. 70% of Americans favor tighter security at the border and a rejection of the Senate Bill on Immigration.
