If that's the best they can do to trash Tony, he's a great candidate for the job. I'm sure they've been working overtime to get the "dirt".

At least, he knows what he's in for if he's offered the job.

And I sure want him to take it!!!

So I guess this is Newsday's attempt at trashing Tony. What it does tell you is that they've been digging for dirt on all of the candidates. I'd love to see him take the job, but his radio career is just getting started, it's a bad time to take a pay cut.

Chances are the WH will go with somebody else. That's the way they work.

"I know he could run circles around the posse but .. personally, maybe Mary Matlin or someone else could do the job. just a thought."

How about having Alan Keyes become Whitehouse Press Secretary...... There would be utter silence in the room because no reporter would dare speak up knowing that he/she would have to listen to an hour and half lecture about his comments to him, and then he would give a lecture to the press corp on how to conduct themselves, and what kind of questions they should really be asking him.

That would be cooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!

Sandy Burglar got his National Secrity credentials because he was a Labor Relations LAWYER.

Well, that makes sense in a Democrat/Clinton sort of way.

Sank the Clinton Admin? LOL

Now that is funny.

Clinton had a 66% approval during that "sinking".

He is now a brilliant bad boy, an adored ex-President, speaking world-wide for millions, a Senator for a wife and Presidential contender, and his Presidency was noting but peace and prosperity.

President Bush will never have such a resume.

Unfortunately your right. Tony would have been able to slap down those "towel snappers" with grace and dignity.

You Democrats keep pushing for a third party
( A third party means the RATS win)

I haven't been keeping up on this one. Who else is on the short list for the job of WHPS?

He really would make a great spokesman. Handsome, funny, articulate, honorable.

He'd be OK, but I rather see Ann Coulter in the position. Couldn't you just imagine???

"Sheeeeeesh, not another lame question from the Commie-loving pinko in the third row......Fine then......What's your inane question, moron?"

"President Bush will never have such a resume."

In the long run, it's not the resume that counts......it's your legacy and the Klintoons legacy isn't pretty. Bush's legacy will put him near the top...........if all goes well in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Taiwan, North Korea, immigration laws, federal deficit, the stock market, gas prices, the economy, his approval numbers, his future state of the union addresses, his deficit reduction plans, and whether there will be another 9-11 attack on the United States while president.

If Tony takes the WHPS job without demanding, and getting, a top-level policy position as well, he's an idiot. If he does get it, then he'll be a player, and not just a front man. Better than he, though, would be Tori Clark (sp), now on Clinton NN but formerly w the Pentagon.

"And I sure want him to take it!!!"

It's currently just shy of midnight, Saturday April 22. Since Tony Snow has not stated on his radio show that he will turn it down, but instead will work it thru with his family, I'd say it's better than even money that he will accept the job. He'll be great although we all have to understand that he's not allowed to voice his own opinions, he's strictly a talking head. Still, he's our Tony!

Snow's name is the only name that I heard.

I've never even voted for a Democrat. I have, as a protest, voted for a couple of Libertarians for minor offices in the last few years.

I have been a registered Independent since Reagan's second term - his Kitchen Cabinet got us where we are, today. Global agriculture.

How can food be less expensive if it is grown in South America and shipped to the U.S. - the price of shipping is expensive. Do we need green cantalopes in the winter? Gone are the days of looking forward to summer and a sweet Texas watermelon.

Remember how NAFTA would be the answer to Mexico's problems? The Pacific Rim deal would rid China of communism?

Democracy, democracy, democracy - don't make me laugh. Clinton told us - but he was such a liar about his sex life that we didn't believe him when he told the truth - said the 21st century would be The Third Way - a combination capitalism, socialism, and communism.

OTOH, if there are honest history books in future years, GW will be ranked quite highly while Bubba will be ranked in the basement along with Jimmah and some other Dim scum.

Correction, I also heard Tori Clark (sp), but that she also declined.

Yeah...and it only cost us 3,000 lives on 9/11 for that bargain of a Prez!

You must be sooooo proud!

I'd have a stopwatch. Less than 5 sec is a question, more than 5 sec is a statement. I only answer questions.
