The Clinton Show, Even 24 can’t top the crazy things Clinton tried.

On the popular Fox network television series 24, the first half of the long and violent day of covert operative Jack Bauer has been spent hunting down the Chechen terrorists who where trying to unleash nerve gas on Los Angeles. The terrorists had earlier tried to assassinate the Russian president during his meeting with U.S. President Charles Logan in Los Angels to formalize a new antiterrorism alliance. Then it was revealed, in a story line that has taken many twists and turns, that President Logan is the real villain behind the day's events. So Bauer is now trying to foment a regime change in the White House.

This has sent the left-wing blogosphere into joyous fits. Conservative network Fox is running a series that portrays the president as the bad guy! One blogger tried to equate Logan's complicity in the assassination of former president David Palmer (who had discovered Logan's plot) with the alleged outing of CIA employee Valerie Plame (whose husband, Joe Wilson, “discovered” a Bush plot) by members of President George W. Bush's administration. And since Logan's scheme also involved gaining control of Central Asian oil, this led Chusid to link him and Bush as perpetrators of "unnecessary wars."

24 has really gone off the deep end now. This clown is too incompetent, gutless, and tentative to be a real villain behind a complex conspiracy.

Relax, it's TV. It's almost irrelevant.

Nah, Karl Rove actually writes these 24 plots under a nomme de plume for the 24 folks. It's all about GW's strategy.

The TBA 480 is a Russian device for creating the implosion that sets off the nuclear chain-reaction in a bomb.

Risen writes (page 195) that the Clinton-approved plan ended up handing Tehran "one of the greatest engineering secrets in the world, providing the solution to one of a handful of problems that separated nuclear powers such as the United States and Russia from rogue countries such as Iran that were desperate to join the nuclear club but had so far fallen short."

Why do they need the TBA 480 when their nuclear ambitions are only peaceful?

Still more than enough time to have three surprise changes in the conspiracy. My bet is that Jack Bauer is really behind all of it. How else could he survive everything thrown at him?

Actually, that's what's kind of slick about Logan. When acting as prez, he's an incompetent buffoon but as the villain, he's cold and calculating.

If Bill Clinton were the main character in 24 instead of Jack Bauer and Nina had killed his wife, Clinton would probably have tried to get to have sex with him.

The 24 shows are actually based on what will lead up to 911. The left really need to get a grip on reality.

It hammers in a "Conservative" message, at least pro-military that sometimes torture is the only way to get the information

How many times do we have to tell you, it's "strategery!"

Isn't one of the theories of OKC is that it was a terrorist sting that backfired?

Well if you had Bill Clinton's wife and someone killed her, wouldn't you be thankful too?

I'll admit to being a newcomer to 24, but I've yet to see that chemical torture that the US supposedly uses work even once.

But I did notice that they had to include an episode where an innocent person is tortured.

"an episode where an innocent person is tortured."

Yes, but Jack smooth things over with her so that could still have sex with her later.

Right now she's squirting blood and his chances are looking slim.
