My wife owns $50k of Texaco stock, worked for Texaco for 33 years in their World Headquarters in various assignments including futures buying of crude and refined product. She wrote speeches for the Presidents of differing Texaco companies, participaed in selling Texaco's chemical company in the 1980s. Wrote portions of Texaco's annual report, put together P&L and balance sheeets for Texaco International Mining and Exploration (TIMM). We have had dinner at Inc's CFO home several times. We still study the industry's earnings per share versus other industries.

Do you know what the petroleum industries net profit as a percent of revenues are compared to other large industries? An understanding of economics, supply chaing, distribution, accounting and finance may help clarify cloudy ignorant think from what one percieves as strictly a dollar per gallon at the pump mentality.

BTW, buy a share of stock from one of the majors, and read their quarterly report.

I have a question for the red meat crowd.

Where are you going to get workers of working age to do work? Don't say legal immigrants from Europe. They have their own demographic and ageing problems and will offer equivalent incentives so you can take that off the table as a reply.

So, answer that question. It's not a matter of work Americans won't do. It's a matter of work there are not enough Americans of working age to do. So where are you going to get workers of working age to do the work?

Legal immigration? So you want to ramp up processing at the Mexico border and let more in with green cards? Okay, . . . but isn't that part of the plan in Congress? Ship them back to the border for processing and let them back in? That would be part of the ramp up, yes? Put them at the back of the line? Okay, with the ramp up, the line traverses in 20 mins.

So . . . what's the problem?

You would sell out your country for 50K in Texico stock. I guess the price has gone up since judas's 30 pieces of silver. If the marxists running the illegal alien marches take over your going to find out that that money won't help you.

You worry about your P&L and when the country is gone I wonder if you realize that it didn't matter.

The oil companies recent mergers put them in a position to do exactly what they are doing. The facts are they have been giving money to the enviormental movement (marxists) so that no drilling or building of another refinery would never happen. Great plan except that in the end the US would be destroyed. We are at WAR. War profiteers need to go to jail.
