President Bush accuses those of us who want to secure America's borders and fully enforce our immigration laws of lacking "compassion." Huh. Well, I have yet to hear an ounce of compassion from President Bush for America's countless casualties of lax immigration enforcement. Where's the sympathy for innocent, law-abiding citizens who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens and their open-borders enablers? Nope, we haven't heard a word about the victims as the White House pours on its unadulterated pro-illegal alien rhetoric and "undocumented workers do the jobs Americans won't do" propaganda -- all in support of a massive, ill-timed, bureaucratic nightmare-inducing amnesty plan that will inevitably increase illegal immigration.

"Compassion" means that Bush doesn't have a good defense of his side of the arguement. It's simple childish name calling. I wish he'd tell us why he's really backing amnesty, is it because of the business lobby? Maybe he thinks it may actually get us the hispanic vote in some convoluted way of thinking, ignoring all of these La Raza and MeCHA marches.

President Bush's behavior is not only self destructive, it borders on insanity. Not only is he weakening America with this obsession, he is damaging his own party for years to come.

Sadly, its been a choice between crazies for quite some time. Clinton, Kerry, Gore... all nuts, all damaging. Bush... OK on some aspects such as the Court and international affairs, but a complete loser on immigration. Looking forward... the possibility of the Hildebeast or warmed-over Kerry served up as a backlash to a confused GOP. Real problems with leadership prospects.

Wal-Mart was found guilty in court of paying illegal immigrants $5.00 per hour. They have to pay a fine of more than $20 million for doing thins not in one location but many locations. Perhaps you are ignorant of the recent lawsuit where Wal-Mart was found guilty in COURT! As for Wal-Mart paying on average $9.40 per hour you are WRONG, where are your facts? Made up in your head?. Wal-Mart Workers in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska make less than $6.00 per hour -- this is based on a Study done by the University of Michigan. As for what Wal-Mart says -- I have no faith in the figures you give, I do have faith in research from the University of Michigan.
If Wal-Mart paid their employees as much money as you assert than why does Wal-Mart encourage their employees all over the USA to seek state medical assistance? Numerous states around he USA are looking into bills that would address this issue.

Your logic is based on false facts -- Wal-Mart does not pay it's workers on average $9.40 across the USA. Delete management and the heads of the corporation from Arkansas and the pay scale and you get less than a living wage so that a few billionaires can grow ever richer.

I don't remember this but I do remember a few years ago, a company contracted by Walmart to do night time janitorial work was cited for hiring illegals at less than minimum wage.
Because those company heads are Democrats and that's your job. You were doing that before President Bush was elected, and you'll be doing it after he's gone.
