LOL, that was the first thing that came to my mind. A little "slant well drilling" to see if there is oil on our side of the line.

I am sure for considerations, they can find out from the oil companies who wanted to drill off Florida, but can't, where they think our oil is located offshore. - tom

You're so on target with this:

...can go a very long way. I've many a friends who are employed in the oil field, and one of them does the directional drilling we take for granted to get to those "tough" areas.

Is it just you and I who seems to notice this?
