The rule was retired presidends and retired officers kept their mouths shut. Clinton and the Peanut President changed that. I guess the generals think it okay now.

Yup. You never heard Reagan, Ford, Nixon or GHW Bush engage in that scrurrilous behavior.

Only Democrats. I think the last living Democrat who DIDN'T do that was Harry Truman. Well, actually, LBJ, but he never even WANTED to think of politics after he left office, just wanted to go back to Texas and die.

So, Clinton as Commander in Chief should be put on the block for criticizing President Bush. Sounds good to me. We're just too wimpy to do anything about it.
