I don't know how old this code articles are or when they were promulgated. From my distant High school history class, I seem to remember that there was ah uge protest that got nasty with ex military after World War I. I think it had to deal with Pensions or something. If memory serves me correctly, General Macarthur(I don't think he a general at the time) had to put it down and clear it out of DC. I wonder if these articles were used then.
