How many men did she have in her lifetime? Who knows; but she made some great movies; Cleopatra is my favorite one.

I think it's sort of wierd Liz Taylor, (who converted to Judaism when she married Mike Todd), has annual Easter parties.
I think she converted when she married Eddie Fisher!

I have no idea who is right after finding this:
"About the famous religious convert Elizabeth Taylor what religion she converted from and to and why.
RENOWNED RELIGIOUS CONVERTS
ELIZABETH TAYLOR, U.S. (British-born), 1932-.
Actress.
From: Christian Science.
To: Judaism.
Why: Taylor converted to Judaism after the death of her husband Mike Todd and before her marriage to Eddie Fisher, although she claimed the conversion had nothing to do with marriage plans. "As a kid I had a Walter Mitty dream about being Jewish and wished I was," she says in her autobiography.""

Didn't she marry Fisher after Todd? Something to do with "borrowing" Fisher from her friend, Debbie, as a shoulder to cry on?

Wow, I guess I'm a better person than I'd known: My dad says, "Well, at least [bannie] always marries them."

She and Debbie Reynolds have a common bond. They BOTH loathe Eddie Fisher. Hell hath no wrath..whew!

I don't think you can "steal" anyone who doesn't want to go. ;-) You're probably right; but who wants one who can be thusly enticed?

Like her or not, another 20th century Hollywood icon passes. There ain't very many left - Deborah Kerr comes to mind - Scots are a tough lot.

Only a woman would enjoy Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf.
Why? That's a phenomenal play/film. One of the best American films of the mid 1960s.

I liked her as ther "perfect" Amy in Little Women....I think she had blond hair for that role tho so she looked very different.

This makes me sad. I didn't agree with all her views but she really was a beautiful woman. Not a great actress.

Liz Taylor was a knock out, beautiful lady. Yes, her present health condition is sad. I don't like to see people suffer. She wasn't great, but still made a few tons of Hollywood gold.

My personal favorite Liz Taylor film: "Elephant Walk"

Exactly! I can't think of her and not see that image in my head. What a bunch of freaks.

That's so true. Some people are more fragile than others. I believe it's attributed to ones genes and how they took care of themselves in their youth. Liz lived a pretty fast life.
