"What I've always found out is that the *details* always work themselves out -- once you've decided on the big picture. Arguing the details does nothing for the big picture. No matter what you put forward in details -- it's always the case that "where there's the will, there's a way"."

Nonsense. The entire might of Nazi Germany couldn't get a nuclear bomb to work.

They had the will. They botched the math.

Get the math wrong, get the materials wrong, get the clean lab wrong, get the assembly process wrong, or get the maintenance wrong and you won't get the desired result.

Three words...Abdul Qadeer Khan.

You said -- "Nonsense. The entire might of Nazi Germany couldn't get a nuclear bomb to work."

In time they would have. I understand that there was some misinformation fed to them. It was simply a "matter of time" -- that's all. Details *always* work themselves out sooner or later.

If it's "later" -- you're just as dead in an explosion. It's the same difference. The details *will come* -- sooner or later.

AND -- according to some recent information -- Japan even had a nuclear bomb program. I understand that they were quite far along. This was some history or military channel show. It was quite interesting.

All I can say about the U.S. is simply that *God's providence* was on their side to develop it first and end the war. You can thank God for that -- and not the details.

In this case, God may not be on our side to prevent some kind of WMD attack -- here on U.S. soil. It may be a nuclear bomb, it may be some biological weapon, it may be several other things. And it may happen.

So, I don't worry about details -- because as I said to someone else --

First you *make the decision* -- then you *buy the details*. That's all...

I would say they are well on their way to buying their details.

Our friend probably believes these clowns can put together a Ferrari in their garage and have it go 180 mph.
