My company has to fire two or three new-hires every year in SoCal because they gave a SS# that didn't check out. It takes about three weeks before we know, for some reason, but we do find out when the W4 bounces back.
I don't buy the 'fake SS#' argument as a lasting condition.
If my company finds out, anybody could. It takes willful scofflaw behavior for an employer to have illegal workers.
Great note, BJN!!!! Think I will use it too.....
Beware of the political contributions by Costco:

$2,000 to Republicans
$0 to Others
$222,303 in Total Contributions

Let's unilaterally declare American Consumer Freedom Day!
Vote with your feet and your pocketbook!
I'm on my way down to Wally World to get 4 new tires for the pick-'em-up truck and to upgrade my BBQ equipment for the summer. I'll also get lunch, snack and dinner at one of our fine local restaurants. (No Asian restaurant will be closed today . . . you can bet on that.)
Surely there's something that everyone needs this month. Buy it today when it can make a difference!
We can all credit Free Republic with the damage done to the Commie's plans to shut down the economy.
I need a new little weber grill myself,, HaPPy Shopping, amigo! :-):-)
I went out and shopped like a Great Being. Only stores closed where I live were a couple of seedy, mediocre hole-in-the-wall places with bankruptcy written all over them anyway. Couple of Mexican folks in line in front of me at Walmart. Smiles all around. Boycott, sorry amigo, we don't comprende your steenkin' boycott.
