Good for you, Jewels1091. Talk to your daughter about it. I called my Mom and told her that she raised a daughter with a backbone. I told her that if my Dad were alive, he would say, "THAT's a daughter of a WWII 35 missions over Germany Veteran!"

Bring It Muslims!

I have stress incontinence, so I can't promise not to pee on somebody or something.

However, I always keep bacon in the house.

I don't feel like it. I feel like I'm behind everyone else.

You mentioned the other night that you were sending books to some troopers in Iraq . . . Do you need more?

If you do, I can send you an extra copy each of "Rebel in Chief" and "Saddam's Secrets"!

Of all the many many posters who saw this movie you are the ONLY person who has that conclusion after seeing the movie.

I am going to have to wait for the movie to come out in DVD...

I hate for even my husband to see me cry from a movie...and I cry very easily..so, I want to see it by myself.

Do you feel like you're behind Osama bin Laden?

How about Senator Kerry?

Charles Manson?

Just saw United 93. Have reservations about it.

Be pleased you didn't have reservations on it.

I know I'm alone in this impression that the film lacks a moral compass.

It's rather like films about the life of Jesus that refuse to show the Resurection or even imply it happened in the ending.

Depression is a Neuro Biological disease and wishing good thoughts won't do anything for it.

NeuroTransmitters in the brain go out of balance.
This is why taking antidepression med is so important.

It often takes a few different types to find the right fit
for the imbalance.
That and talk therapy is very important.
There is a stigma with having Depression and other types
of neuro biological illiness because most people don't understand it is an illness just like being a diabetic.

Thanks. You're right, sometimes I feel confident, especially about school. Sometimes I feel like a complete idiot. I wish I knew what to do.

My mom sometimes gets susceptible to depression. Right now if she feels it coming on she takes some med that starts with an "a" but I don't remember what it is. When we were young it was valium that she took. She tells me I just don't understand clinical depression and she's probably right, I'm just too silly! That's an oversimplifacion I know, but apparently it's easy sometimes to let life overpower you, and you definitely don't need that right now. Or EVER.

That is a tough one in today's society. It's soooo much easier to stand for something. It's so much easier to have everything revolve around you...your life...what's going on in your world. You've given your kids a larger perspective on things. It's about helping others....being part of something larger than yourself. Doing the right thing for the right reasons....it's not always easy to do what's right, but it's always RIGHT.

Good for you! God Bless Yah!
