May 1: Illegal Immigration Day
The National Ledger ^ | 04-29-06 | Vincent Fiore

Posted on 04/29/2006 2:55:06 PM PDT by Coastal

On May 1, immigrants, both legal and illegal, will purportedly take to the streets to:

*Call for--which is just the politically correct way of saying “demand”--amnesty for the unknown millions within the United States, and…

*Demand that the U.S. government pass no legislation that even hints at real law and order at the border, or consequences for those who would upset that law and order.

Protest organizers are threatening to “shut-down” the economy, and some of America’s largest and most populous cities to a grinding halt.

All very good tactics. Thanks!

I have been excessively pessimistic lately. It's not just the borders/illegals, but everywhere I look, the house of cards that has been erected and named *government* is falling.

"...the house of cards that has been erected and named *government* is falling."

You are correct in this assessment. I think the tribulation we are in is a necessary part of the American people awakening to the situation. The politicians are always behind the people with regard to policy changes. I sometimes get pessimistic also but I snap out of it after a while. I believe the low approval ratings for this administration and congress are due to a lack of forcefulness on their part rather than a real dissatisfaction with the direction of the country. The pubbies will probably be as surprised by the midterm election results as will the rats. I don't believe the rats will be pleasantly surprised.

On Monday, I think all of us FReepers need to call or fax our President, two Senators and our representative and make it clear that we want our borders secured NOW. Tell them they can work out a guest worker program later because it isn't urgent. What is urgent is securing our borders now so that these boycotts and marches will cease!!! Be sure to remind all members that you expect them to do their constitutional duty and if they cannot, you will remember on election day.

We truly need to do this to help offset the media spectacle these marches will have tomorrow. As long as our President and Congressmen hear our angry voices, the less chance they'll be intimidated by these protests.

Jim, I wish you would start a thread advocating our own massive protest in which we'll pledge to let our voices be heard too. SECURING THE BORDER NOW needs to be our cry!

Regards,
demkicker

Just Pitching In.

Behind the flag burning can be some marxian imposters —

There certainly were some marxist-leninist criminals trying to highjack the rally today in Los Angeles.

Regardless of one's opinion on the immigration issues : posters were seen (by me) with "MAY DAY MARCH" on them (and the changing bus schedules).

So far as I recall the very notion of 'immigration' (legal or illegal) was not at all prominent on the posters ; (and I now wonder if it was there at all).

As the commies do know about planning, about deception, and about falsifying history, the rally (re immigration — but the commies have been "stealing the show") in Los Angeles today can be documented somewhere in China, or North Korea, or somewhere in the South America — today, or in 2010, etc — as "MAY DAY MARCH" (never mind the immigration and the hoaxed Mexicans etc.).

NOW IS THE TIME TO PREVENT IT !

NOW IS THE TIME NOT TO LET THE COMMIES STEAL THE SHOW !!

WPT
