THE OTHER HILLARY CLINTON (ties to Anthony Pellicano)

Wednesday, May 04, 2005 THE OTHER HILLARY CLINTON

[More stories it's better to read now than during the campaign]

IF HILLARY CLINTON runs for president one of the people you'll be hearing about is Anthony Pellicano, a west coast private eye, currently doing time on explosives charges. The Clintons owe a lot to Pellicano. Although the their lawyer denies it, a number of other sources are convinced Pellicano was working for Hillary and Bill when he falsely suggested that the Gennifer Flowers' tape of Bill's calls was faked. In fact, Pellicano was a high school dropout with no professional qualifications for analyzing such tapes. The Truth Verification Laboratories also found Flowers' tape authentic. That didn't prevent the media from heaping doubts on Flowers. Pellicano was later called in on the Lewinsky case.

Pellicano is a tough guy private eye who boasted to GQ magazine about the time he was working on the Flowers case, "I'm an expert with a knife. I can shred your face with a knife."

Here's some more:

JEANNETTE WALLS, MSNBC - Farrah Fawcett was wiretapped. Fawcett, TV's newest reality-show star thanks to "Chasing Farrah," recently blurted out something about the FBI and wiretapping, and one well-placed source tells The Scoop that the electronic snooper was none other than Anthony Pellicano, the controversial private eye, whose clients have included Michael Jackson, and who is currently doing time in prison on explosives charges.

"Anthony Pellicano had first worked on a case investigating Farrah Fawcett and then became very friendly with her, so friendly that he tried to take on managing her business and at one point, some people close to him believe that they were having an affair, cop turned investigative reporter John Connelly tells The Scoop. Connelly is working on a book about Pellicano. . .

"Farrah was wiretapped at one point and the FBI was involved, her spokeswoman tells the Scoop. "Due to the nature of the tapping we are not at liberty to discuss what it was in regards to or whom it involved. All we can say is that it did happen, and what she is allowed to say about it airs on the show. Regarding your inquiry about Farrah having an affair with Anthony Pellicano, I don't know anything about that; however we don't comment on the nature of our clients' personal lives."

CARL LIMBACHER NEWSMAX, 2003 - New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's Washington scandal attorney David Kendall is denying that recently jailed tough guy-investigator Anthony Pellicano ever worked for the Clintons, a claim directly contradicted by senior Bush White House advisor Mary Matalin - and not even denied by Pellicano himself. Kendall told the New York Daily News that reports linking the former first lady with the controversial gumshoe, who was jailed last Monday on weapons and explosives charges, are "politically motivated and utterly false.". . .

Here's how Mary Matalin, now a senior advisor to President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, remembers stumbling across the Clinton-Pellicano link while she was political director for President Bush 41's 1992 reelection campaign. "I got the letters from Pellicano to [various women linked to Bill Clinton] intimidating them," Matalin said in 1997, when she was the host of her own nationally syndicated talk show on the CBS Radio network. "I had tapes of conversations from Pellicano to the women. I got handwritten letters from the women."

"I got one letter from one of the women's dad's saying, 'This is so horrible. Here's what they're going to do to us,'" Matalin explained. . .

When Newsweek asked Pellicano directly whether he was working for the Clinton White House, his denial was significantly less forceful than Mr. Kendall's. "I have no comment," he told the newsmagazine.

AMERICAN THINKER, 2004 - Two LA Times reporters today used almost 2800 words to examine the highly questionable background of Hollywood celebrity sleuth/audio expert/guest of the federal penal system, Anthony Pellicano. Although the major focus was on his career as a "forensic audio" expert, not once did they manage to mention his most prominent gig: "analyzing" the Gennifer Flowers tapes of her conversations with Bill Clinton, and declaring them "doctored" during the 1992 Presidential campaign.

Readers with long memories will recall that Pellicano's "discrediting" of the tapes, on which then-candidate Clinton was heard disparaging Mario's Cuomo's ethnicity and possible ties to the underworld, as well as making colorful comments of a sexual nature, led the press to immediately drop the matter, and treat the tapes as a gigantic fraud.

Credit where it is due: reporters Scott Glover and Matt Lait do raise many questions about the validity of Pellicano's "expert" testimony as an audio analyst. They point out that he has a record of hearing things no one else can, that he doesn't understand the science supposedly underlying his analytical techniques, and that occasional judges have thrown out his opinions as valueless.

But the primary burden of the article is to raise questions about prosecutors, who have used Pellicano as a witness. Implicitly, the article suggests that miscarriages of justice may have occurred. . .

How is it possible for reporters to ignore the biggest single story in Pellicano's career? How can an editor, presumably well-informed about Presidential politics, and operating during a Presidential election season, to allow such an omission? =========================================================================== ===========================================================================

(reprise) ATTEMPTED MURDER OF GARY JOHNSON SAVED THE CLINTONS IN 1992 Citizens for Honest Government - Pat Matrisciana | 1994

Posted on 06/08/2003 8:53:58 PM PDT by doug from upland

I personally know Pat Matrisciana and some of the researchers for the CLINTON CHRONICLES. I've met troopers and others involved. I've met and interviewed Paula Jones. Never have I accused the Clintons of the attempted murder of Gary Johnson. But those who tried to murder him clearly were doing it to benefit Bill Clinton.

---------------

LARRY NICHOLS: During the 1992 presidential campaign, I was getting bludgeoned by the media because Gennifer Flowers had come out of my lawsuit. A man called me on the phone on a Monday, his name was Gary Johnson. He was an attorney. He told me that he felt bad because I was being bludgeoned, and he wanted to talk to me about handling my case. Well, I was craving an attorney, any attorney to help me.

GARY JOHNSON: You know, I saw Larry out there doing battles, so to speak, on his own, and I felt like he needed some help.

LARRY NICHOLS: I met him on a Tuesday. He was a special attorney; I didn't even know it. You see, he lived next door to Gennifer Flowers.

NARRATOR: For security purposes, Gary Johnson had installed a video camera near the front door of his Quapaw Tower Condominium.

GARY JOHNSON: Looking at someone in front of my door, it got a perfect shot of them in front of Gennifer Flowers' condominium, and it wasn't my intention ever to take pictures of Bill Clinton going in to see Gennifer Flowers. I could care less who Bill Clinton goes to see. But it just so happened she lived next door to me and I mounted the camera there.

LARRY NICHOLS: Guess what he caught on tape? Bill Clinton walking into Gennifer Flowers' apartment on numerous occasions--with a key.

GARY JOHNSON: I actually saw him go into her condominium. It wasn't that I was standing there looking out my peep hole, watching Gennifer Flowers' condominium. It had nothing to do with Bill Clinton, it's just that I had got, I had got the camera. I had the camera before Gennifer Flowers' moved in and when she moved in she just happened to have some very interesting house guests.

LARRY NICHOLS: Go back to 60 minutes when Bill and Hillary were love and kisses. They stood up and lied, and Bill said that he'd never been to her apartment, that he'd only called her once from the kitchen and from his office. That's an absolute lie, and these tapes proved it.

NARRATOR: The 60 Minutes interview had been designed specifically to save Clinton's campaign, not necessarily to get to the truth.

DON HEWITT ( Executive Producer, " 60 Minutes"): And they came to us because they were in big trouble in New Hampshire. They were about to lose right there and they needed some first aid. They needed some bandaging. What they needed was a paramedic. So they came to us and we did it and that's what they wanted to do. When I told Tim Russert that I was persona-non-grata at the White House, he said, "Why?" I said, "The Gennifer Flowers interview." He said, " You got him the nomination." I said, " I know that." As far as I know from the conversations I've had, Bernie Nussbaum knew that, Gergen knows that, Lloyd Cutler certainly knows it 'cause Lloyd had a hand in his coming on that night.

You know it was strong medicine the way I edited it but he was a very sick candidate. He needed very strong medicine, and I'm not in the business of doctoring candidates but he got up out of a sick bed that night and walked to the nomination and as I said to Mandy, " You know if I'd edited it your way, you know where you'd be today? You'd still be up in New Hampshire looking for the nomination." He became the candidate that night.

JUDGE JIM JOHNSON: When the Gennifer Flowers story broke, that story was a hundred times more credible than the story that literally knocked Gary Hart out of the campaign.

GARY JOHNSON: I'd been Gennifer Flowers' neighbor, I knew that Bill Clinton wasn't telling the truth about that. Bill Clinton, I think, would do just about anything to, to save his political hide.

LARRY NICHOLS: He got threatening phone calls. He asked me, he said, " Will they hurt me?" I said, "Well, they haven't hurt me." And I don't know why I didn't worry more about that.

GARY JOHNSON: Basically what they said was, " You mind your own business," and all it did was made me mad. I never thought in a million years that anybody would follow up on it.

LARRY NICHOLS: We filed the request for the subpoenas on Thursday. Saturday morning we found Gary Johnson beaten and left for dead. And without getting into gory details, both elbows were dislocated, his collar bones were broken, his spleen and his bladder were ruptured with holes the size of half dollars in them. His nose, his sinus cavities were all crushed. He had been beaten by Clinton's people.

INTERVIEWER: Were they very large?

GARY JOHNSON: Yes, ( laugh ), yes they were.

INTERVIEWER: Did they say, " Where's the tape?"

GARY JOHNSON: Yes, they asked me for the tape.

LARRY NICHOLS: Now what's sick is the man gave them the tapes, and then they went and broke his elbows, punctured his spleen, punctured his bladder.

GARY JOHNSON: They looked like state troopers, I'll say that. Clinton can be a very dangerous individual in the state of Arkansas.

Those quotes are from Paula Jones, Juanita Broadderick, and Kathleen Wiley - women Clinton abused and sexually assaulted.

Their comments should not be stifled by you because you want to act with false modesty and false righteous indignation.

Next, the founder of your sect (Mormonism) and a man you call a "prophet" had sex with all of these women and called them 'wives.'

In light of all of this, your comment to me is simply laughable.

Not sure. It is rather odd, isn’t it. Obama is being hammered and might have to appear at the Rezco trial. No mention of Paul v Clinton or Hillary and Pellicano.

I saw a piece on the CBS net’s morning show this morning. Talked about Pellicano, never mentioned the Toons. Go figure.
