That picture makes me sick. I wish Bush would get with the program and start cracking down on them. I don't understand why he is being so stubborn on this issue.

Bush is being stubborn on this, well for the same pig headed stubbornness & stupidity that compelled him to nominate stealth candidate Harriet Miers, to label the Minutemen as vigilantes, to threaten to veto the anti-Dubai ports deal until that came crashing down, to signing the McCain-Feingold Campaign (un)Reform Act and gutting the 1st amendment freedom of speech, to letting left-wing lunatic Ted Kennedy write Bush's education bill, signing into law & presiding over the largest growth of federal govt spending EVER.... and the list goes on & on.

I think the real reason is simply that GW Bush is NOT a conservative and never has been. He is a moderate at best and a weenie liberal most of the time. He is a one-world globalist who makes a mockery of our nation's borders, and instead is very much a proponent of open borders and a combined economic & political entity of Canada-United States-Mexico.... obviously if you're white and middle class, you will end up bearing the financial burden of paying for a massive socialistic welfare state. The ruling elites (both Repukes & DimWits) think that it is their destiny to lead us poor uneducated saps into the New World Order.

Make no mistake....GW Bush scorns the hard-working conservatives & Christian evangelicals & patriotic Americans who elected him twice to POTUS. He loves nothing better than to pander, appease & capitulate to Dims, liberals & lefties. He might see what will happen if he manages to destroy so much of his conservative credibility that the Repubs would lose control of the House in 2006. Then Bush will see how much his pandering, capitulating & groveling for the DimWits and a bloc of 12-18 million illegal aliens who are being signed up by DimWits to vote in the next election, has done for him when they bring impeachment proceedings against him. If that happens, Bush will have only himself to blame for being a complete idiot and misgauging which constituency (libs, lefties, Dimwits, illegals vs conservatives, Christians & patriotic Americans) that he should have supported. In fact since GW Bush is so pig-headed and un-yielding, I believe that a pending impeachment trial by DimWits may be the only thing that will jar Bush loose from his stupor, when he sees that his legacy is going to crash & burn around him because of his stubborn refusal to deport 12-18 million illegals and to secure the border by BUILDING A FENCE.

No accident they chose MAY DAY the Communist 4th of July to hold this protest ..I'd like to see what would happen if thousands of ,let's say , Greeks came into mexico illegaly , started a protest , hung their flag upside down and said we'll show you who runs mexico. The machine guns would be smoking all day long .

I agree. That picture pretty well sums up how they feel about US citizens. They are here for one thing, MONEY. They don't give a shiet about anything else.

Wanna know why President Bush is being so stubborn? Simple. He's just fulfilling a promise.

The illegals have no authorization to be in this country, therefore they have no work permit, therefore they have no rights to protection of American labor laws. My personal backlash to their demands is to boycott any Mexican workers or businesses. Not for just a day, but from now on.

Wasn't being a spelling nazi so much as chuckling at what a check lets through. Newspaper headlines always have so much "flare"--there was a great Wm Buckley bit once where the whole column was an essay of words that were wrong but correctly spelled.

If these illegal aliens seriously wanted to teach us how much we need them, they would return to their own country enmasse and stay there until we begged them to come back.

Little brer' rabbit and the briar patch ploy here. Hope they bite.

One unfortunate consequence may be the linking of the old Hispanic families in the US (mostly New Mexico) with the illegals.

I keep hearing stories of protesters throwing away American flags after the protests. If any freepers go to these rallies, stick around afterwards and try to get pictures of this.

I feel the very same. I babysat for them in a church progarm for free, as a teenager, when they were getting sprayed with pesticides.

I've since adopted a No Mercy policy.
