What a stupid, stupid, stupid idea... this is wrong on so many levels... not to mention that the Arizona Governor would appoint a Democrat to fill McCain's seat.

See, the pretender hawk is leading yet another insurrection.

McCain for early retirement! Pass the strawberries...
I don't know what the beef is about Rumsfeld, unless it's just another cheap shot at Bush. Personally, I think the guy is doing a good job.

I would not hire McCain for Secretary of my office, let alone defense.

Surely, the Administration is not that out of touch. No, they're not.
And don't call me Shirley.

Some people have lost their flippin' minds.

More evidence of media manipulation of policy, and Americans.
So the media will give McCain better PR than Rumsfeld, and somehow the Islamic cult suicide bombers in Iraq and elsewhere will cease??
No.
But the coverage and tone of that coverage will cease to be negative against the US.
They are admitting that their monopoly on information and opinion making will suddenly change.
If McCain become SOD, a Dem wins the Pres or Congress, the suicide bombers will be "failing", will be called the murderers they are, will be scorned for their work against the Iraqi people and a civilized nation, and the US will be "winning".

I would not hire McCain for Secretary of my officeI wouldn't hire him to drive my yard garbage out to the dump.
He can best serve the United States by retiring and shutting the hell up.
To: hellinahandcart
He seems really out there lately. Advocating for illegals, curtailing 1st Amendement, etc etc.

Delusional.
These people are totally divorced from reality.
That's not hyperbole. I really think they're crazy.
I wonder if there's something in the water? It would probably have to be bottled water to strike at the crowd exhibiting these symptoms. An Evian plague?
