I gather you have not followed this race very closely. Days after I officially announced my intention to run, Rep. Taylor's Press Secretary sent out an e-mail from her government account which accused me of being "a left-wing radical," a "nut," and a man of "little or no morals." Also at the same time, another Taylor functionary attacked me and my family, personally.
So, the first question is, would Rep. Taylor even want the support of someone as nasty as his people described me. We'll see what he says down the road.
You also miss the point that political parties are not obligated to run candidates who will obviously lose the party seats it currently holds in the House or Senate. My article gives two examples of exactly that sort of reaction, one in the Senate, the other in the House.
I trust these additional facts answer your question.

I see. Well you failed to get 80% of the primary votes so I am wondering why you feel your 20% would translate to victory in the general election. Then again, Free Republic is not making much sense lately so I guess hope springs eternal.
