Rush said yesterday that this country will never be able to shake one of the sins of our past; Slavery. The Libs will alway use this as a crutch.

I do not believe that slavery "was one of the sins of our past". At most it was an oversight due to practicality of deadlines.

Once it was actually addressed, it was rejected. The ones who refused to reject slavery were shot out of existence (the confederacy) at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives.

How many monuments are there from the black community that pay homage and give thanks to those who died to catch them up to speed with the U.S. Constitution?

Where is the gratitude?
