Look, I personally don't think there's anything wrong with singing the song in Spanish - big deal! - it's when you change the words that it's a problem. The same people that villify the press are the first ones to believe it the first minute they can bash one of the Bush's

So by your logic, we should never believe the press when it reports anything we don't want to hear.

This is a very hotbutton issue right now and singing the national anthem in spanish is a very big deal due to the protests in the streets. We're not talking about some Sunday School group doing a humorous takeoff on a song - we're talking about the Balkanization of America. Forgive us if we take this issue seriously.

When you can tell me the press reports things as it happens, without a spin - you can argue with my logic.

There's nothing wrong with taking it seriously -but you don't have to attack people for not agreeing with you. Chill out it's a forum. I find it hard to fault Mrs. Bush for not caring if people sing something in Spanish - sing it in Swahili for all I care if the words are the same.
