So most of you have heard, The pro-illegal immigration mayor and council of Herndon, Va were turned out by the voters last night. So you probably think this was some Red State bastion in Northern, VA, right?

Wrong - Herndon is full of Blue Dog demos. Here's the Election data from 2005:

The cops uncovered an MS-13 plot up in Maryland outside of DC to ambush police officers. That crew is as bad as anything you will see in America and they have become a major focus of law enforcement.

People in Herndon got fed up with the day laborers congregating in areas looking for work. These guys would hang out, litter, intimidate people, piss on the side of the buildings and whatever else. The day laborer center was an idea to get them to go someplace else than the local 7-11. The Feds weren't doing anything to round up the illegals. Guess the local pols took the brunt of voter anger.
