NO "born again Christian"would continue to proclaim Islam
is Peace.Ignorance of world religion is understandable-
Ignorance of Scripture is NOT. The Globalism of G.W.Bush
is akin to that of the United Nations. As is his Methodism.
Bush has NOT publically defended Christians under attack.
NOT Gen. Boiken Not The Honorable Roy S.Moore, Not the
Veteran ,Honor Gaurd punished for say "God Bless"at funerals for Christians, Not the Air Force Academy ,Nor
the US Navy chaplains, He said nothing about the Unconstitutional attacks by the godless anti-American ACLU
against public display of Ten Commandments monuments -or
the Mount Soledad Cross--Or the unlawful removal of the
cross at the Barracks in Pearl Harbor.He appoints and
protects unrepentant homosexuals (as ambassadors to Embassies in Catholic Countries--Has not clarified "don't ask-Don't tell" though the Law is homosexual behavior is not
compatible with military service.He may fovor a Federal Marriage Amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman-but at the same time supports the LIE that
the State needs legitimize what homosexuals do.
IMO a Christian whose politics govern his public acts-and
those act are contrary to Scripture isn't much of a Christian.
But he won't be disappointed to spend eternity with you, if you're with us...........nor will I.
And you know what? A whole lot of Muslims will have been brought out of their spiritual darkness because of the freedom his God-led fight against Islamofascism has allowed, and will spend eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ too, if they accept Him.
The Gospel is now much more likely to be proclaimed than there ever before. (I have a strange feeling that THAT disappoints you too.....)
Pray for him, Stony. Don't condemn him when you can't possibly know what's in his soul. Don't make judgements that you cannot possibly make because of his diplomatic words, or your own political bias.
Don't condemn him. .......PRAY for him.
I know that we are to identify our brothers and sisters in Christ by their love, and by the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace........), but I've never seen the Scripture that backs up your way of identifying who names the Name of Christ, and who does not.........by whether or not their politics align perfectly with ours.
There are millions of Christians who have seen President Bush's life and sense that he is a brother, have heard his testimony, and know he's not lying about it. Perhaps it helps that we pray for him, and don't require that he swear allegiance to a particular narrow politcal ideology as you do.
