More and more we're seeing on TV
individuals who are revamping their
car engines and/or adding devices
under the hoods, etc. to obviate
the use of so much petrol. Now I
know as well as I'm sitting here
at my laptop that if the back alley
mechanic can perform these alterations
the "Heads" in Detroit can not only
DO IT, but improve the methodology!
Watch. Some American entrepreneur
is going to put an ad in the paper
saying he'll modify your car for
X $$, and his fortune will be made.
Not long after that, Detroit will
buy him out and squash the invention.

No need for Detroit to spend money to erase competition in
these modern times.
They'll just sic the EPA on him.
Or get DateLine NBC to show one of the modified vehicles blowing
up with a fiery blaze, with trial lawyers soon soaring down upon
the humble little inventor.
Besides, Detroit probably wouldn't have the spare money to buy
out the inventor these days.
