I don't see anyone here calling Reagan "Renaldo"--oh, but he didn't sign an amnesty bill into law, right...uh, right...?
It's not everyone at all. It's a relative minority, but they go from thread to thread, no matter the subject. Someone here dubbed them border trolls. :-)
I'm not.
The anti-Bush jihad is being led by 8-2004, 9-2004, and 10-2004 signups. They were at the forefront in trashing Bush over Harriett Miers. They then moved to the Dubai ports deal, in wanting Bush's scalp (there is another Dubai purchase that was approved last week, the takeover of Doncasters, which manufactures military material, yet you haven't heard a peep out of them), and now they want the rest of his head over immigration.
The principals in this "get Bush" campaign are always the same, no matter the issue. It is well coordinated, and these DU trolls will intensify their efforts as election day nears.
Just sit back and note the names of the most vocal. Then review their posting history. You'll see what I mean.
The border issue undermines the success in the WOT. The whole argument about preferring to fight them there than here falls apart when they can come waltzing across the border into our soft underbelly as they please. Also, we are bogged down in Iraq because we weren't tough enough. We are tied up so that we can't deal with Iran because we're screwing around in Iraq.
Other than that, sure he's a greeeeaaaaat president. He's ok, I'm glad he won over Kerry, I'd vote for him again, but I'm getting really sick of having to wake up every morning and oppose him on one thing or another.
It's part of Dean's strategy. Bring up issues that will split the easily manipulated Republican base.
The anti-abortion Republican crowd are suckers and play right into his game.
