That's my main concern with Rudy - his pro-gay, pro-abortion and other liberal social positions. He would be adding more Ginsbergs, Souters, etc and America cannot afford to have another one. If that happens, turn out the lights, the party's over.
We need two more judges appointed by Bush -- then bring on Guiliani - he can handle the terror/crime issue... although I haven't heard his take on illegal border crossers I can't imagine him rewarding them with amnesty or the McCain "Amnesty light" program.
The social issues most of us care about will have to be fought in the Supreme Court as there isn't likely going to be legislative changes - so the President's personal opinion won't matter if he doesn't control the SC appointments. Hopefully Bush will fill at least 2 more, then Guiliani won't have to appoint any!
On the other hand, even if Guiliani has to appoint a SC judge ask yourself - would you rather have a Guiliani appointee, or a Hillary appointee - does the name Ginsberg ring any bells?
