"A fool is more dangerous than a scoundrel."
Do not be fooled. He is a scoundrel.
Astute. The one does not exclude the other.
His unilateral disarmaments with USSR were unbelieveable...and wasn't he the president that introduced legislation to give Panama back the canal? I know it was turned over during the REagan years, but wasn't that Carter's doing?
Telling the Shah to his face that he valued him above all others in the region as a friend and allie...then betraying him. PLUS!!!!
The SOB wouldn't let the dying Shah come to Mayo's clinic fearing he would upset the ayatollah. I think eventually Sadat took him in, right?
I can say that I truly despise this man as I realize he is the cause of us going to Iraq twice and for allowing the sread of Islamo-fascism.
Make that 'somewhere' Devil's Island.
I can't wait to see the TV spots.
Carter has no shame.
Jimmuh Carter, the biggest disgrace to the South and the US, except for King Ahab Willie and his trashy Queen Jezebel wife! Carter's problems stem from two things: 1) his mother fed him instant grits when he was a kid; 2) his mother didn't take him out back with a hickory switch enough to teach him good sense.
Glad to see you posted her column this week. Jimmy Carter disgusts me!

Carter has spent these past twenty-five years re-writing his legacy. How many books has he written in total? And the public gobbles them up because they see him as the grandfatherly statesman. It makes me ill.
When thinking of Hillary for President, I keep coming back to the point that the radical Arab world, those steeped deep in jihad will NEVER want to work with a woman president of the US. Women hold no place of authority in their own governments... and they would have no respect for a woman leading the US. This doesn't mesh with their culture.
Like I said, Jimmuh, next to King Ahab Willie, is the biggest disgrace to the South and the USA. He never met a radical bolshie, muslim, or US-hating despot that he didn't like. What is galling is that a US nuclear sub is named for him!
Can you imagine the poor sailors stuck on the USS Jimmy Carter when they could be on the USS Ronald Reagan?
"A fool is more dangerous than a scoundrel."
"Do not be fooled. He is a scoundrel."
If you want to really know (FIRST HAND, detailed report) what a scoundrel and extortionist Carter is read "Carter's Illegal Demands on the Shah" on http://www.antimullah.com
The pro-Khomeini man walking along side the van, from where a Mullah was regulating the take-over of the US Embassy, was grateful for Carter's intervention and overthrow of the Shah. He was also Alan's employee.
Not mentioned in the article is the fact that prior to sending the delegation to Iran, Carter first sent them to the Shah's Embassy in Washington D.C. to try to get the matter handled "locally". A former embassy official and witness of this still resides in the USA and can confirm it.
As an Iranian, who had lost everything, once said: "if I had one bullet and had Carter and Khomeini at my mercy, I would shoot Carter."
Says it all, doesn't it.
Really! The sub probably fires instant grits instead of missiles and flies the white flag instead of the stars and stripes.
You make a good point. (Not that they have respect for male U.S. Presidents)
Personally, I don't believe the polls about Americans who say they'd be open to voting for a woman president.
I don't believe most Americans are ready for a woman president yet. Especially one whose yelling and scolding grates on the nerves as much as Hillary's.
She's a nightmare when she does that.
Keep it up, Hill!
You know I try to think about what I wouldve done if I was President when the Iranian government took our people hostage..and Im sure I would not have let it go past 1 week before I turned their sand into glass. Is that just me?
