"Scenario #3: Fights back tears as he admits to drinking to alleviate the pain he feels because of the War in Iraq, Cindy Sheehan, New Orleans, guest workers and toenail fungus; besides that Karl Rove was driving and this is a a vast right wing conspiracy as someone obviously has drugged his drugs. Leaves the podium shouting, "Do you f@#$ing people know who I am?"
You got it nailed!!! Or maybe it will be "all of the above" - he pleads the 5th on that night but says the controversy has reminded him that he has been meaning to check into Betty Ford for a little R&R, and anyway it's all Karl Rove's evil plot.....

Actually Kennedy is not such a lucky dude. If he had not scheduled a press conference this story would have been overshadowed by Goss. The Press conference might restart the story. I certainly hope so. The Goss story has stirred up a bunch of guessing and the media frenzy is already tiresome. Thank God it broke this afternoon and not earlier in the week. I'd much rather kick around a Kennedy any day!

Has anyone compared the time from the accident to the press release to that of the Vice President's hunting accident? It would be a shame to let the press use double standards when they hammered the VP for "waiting so long to come forward". /sarc
