Scenario #1: He admits a problem with substance abuse. Asks for understanding. He's a Kennedy. Bad luck seems to follow his family. *tears* *sigh* He has decided to seek help. Must now get back to doing the work of the American people.

Scenario #2: Pleads the Fifth on draining the fifth. A frightened waitess from the Hawk and Dove is brought forward to say she mistook another sot for Kennedy. Says she has never seen him before in her life as Senator Edward Kennedy stands behind her jingling a set of car keys and making gurgling sounds.

Scenario #3: Fights back tears as he admits to drinking to alleviate the pain he feels because of the War in Iraq, Cindy Sheehan, New Orleans, guest workers and toenail fungus; besides that Karl Rove was driving and this is a a vast right wing conspiracy as someone obviously has drugged his drugs.

Leaves the podium shouting, "Do you f@#$ing people know who I am?

You got it nailed!!! Or maybe it will be "all of the above" - he pleads the 5th on that night but says the controversy has reminded him that he has been meaning to check into Betty Ford for a little R&R, and anyway it's all Karl Rove's evil plot.....
