Most of the Clinton Shenanigans happened "under the radar" of a complicit media. In fact, all of the "Monica" talk, and all of the furor over his PERJURY helped to cover up some of the most heinous treason an elected president has ever committed in this country...
However, very little of this was reported, and what was, quickly got "hushed." If Bush were to try to do ANY housecleaning the Democrat Propaganda Machine of ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN would be screaming day and night. They'd be propping up third parties to call Bush a Nazi, kind of like they do now, but with MUCH more intensity.
The sad thing is that Clinton and his people are much shrewder and yes, smarter political animals than W and his team. The Bush team is good at winning elections. Political infighting- not so much.
The problem with the stupid party is that haven't figured out that they're going to get hammered no matter what they do, so they may as well do the right thing. They remind me of most of the Europeans bending over for the muzzies lest they be attacked when we all know the muzzies are going to attack anyway.
