"mentioning that some of "Patches"

My daughter told me I couldn't refer to Patrick as "Patches" anymore until I found out exactly what it meant.....so can someone tell me?

another FR thread(today) mentions that Carr has a website: Carr'll know why "Patches" coined.

i googled it to find out myself. Apparently, Howie Carr coined the term based on this song by Clarence Carter.
